Senior Living Remodeler Adds Clinics to Eight N.C. Communities
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 30, 2013 … The nation’s largest operator of senior living communities tapped Robycross, a Charlotte?based remodeler of retirement and healthcare centers, to renovate nine therapy clinics in its communities across North Carolina. Brookdale Senior Living’s new Innovative Senior Care therapy clinics help to minimize the effects of aging by promoting functional independence, improving overall health and providing techniques for preventing pain and disability.
Through Robycross’ work for Brookdale, Innovative Senior Care therapy clinics were recently added to Clare Bridge of Asheville; Clare Bridge of Winston Salem; Salisbury Gardens; Greensboro Place; High Point Manor; Reynolda Park in Winston Salem; and Sterling House of Shelby. Robycross also completed two Innovative Senior Care therapy clinics at the Carriage Club of Charlotte.
?With the recent completion of these nine projects, Robycross has completed about 45 clinics in North Carolina and Virginia for Brookdale Senior Living during the last five years,” said Wilson Worley, president of National Retirement Corporation which represented Brookdale Senior Living in the development of the therapy clinics. “Innovative Senior Care therapists throughout the network have expressed high praise for Robycross’ quality of work, courteous workmen, and their ability to do the work without interrupting the daily activities of community residents, patients and staff. I personally have inspected all the work completed by Robycross and have found it to be of exceptional quality and always completed on time and within our contract budget. Another asset is Robycross’ ability to work with and meet the regulatory requirements of both state and local approval agencies.”
Brookdale tapped Robycross in mid?2012 to start these latest renovations. All the projects were completed last month.
“It is an honor to be a part of these important transformations to help serve our seniors,” said Raquel Mercer, director of Business Development with Robycross. “We are delighted to deliver quality workmanship and experience in retirement living and health care renovations to help promote good health and wellness for Brookdale residents.”
The new Innovative Senior Care therapy clinics provide traditional therapy as well as less conventional, but highly beneficial means of rehabilitation, including massage therapy, chair yoga and Tai Chi. Health education and group exercise classes are also offered in the clinics.
Established and family owned since 1950, Robycross deftly blends decades of residential remodeling and commercial construction experience to specialize in the interior and exterior renovation of retirement and health care facilities, including continuing?care retirement communities, independent and assisted living communities, Alzheimer’s and memory?impaired apartments, community common areas, skilled nursing centers, hospitals and medical offices.
