The Ultimate Matchmaker – Let Choice Connections Help You Choose the Perfect Senior Community at No Cost

Filed under: Senior Housing — seniorlivingguide @ 12:56 pm

Making the decision to move to a senior living community can be difficult and stressful.  Just open the Yellow Pages, no rx look through Senior Magazines or do an internet search and the options can be overwhelming!  So, stuff if you are in a position where you need to make a decision for yourself or a parent, where do you start?

Choice Connections of Richmond can be the perfect place to begin your search!  Rather than contacting several communities and becoming overwhelmed with information, why not make one call?  Choice Connections is familiar with the various senior living options and this knowledge allows us to help families narrow the search to those that will best meet their needs.  We guide seniors and their families through the complexity of senior care options professionally and courteously – and free of charge.

We begin by learning about what makes each of our seniors unique and understanding why they are considering a move.  Because there are so many types of senior housing, understanding the underlying objective in moving is an important step.  By getting to know our clients and their families, we learn about their individual preferences, health care needs, finances and other considerations that are important in choosing the right community.  Our team of experts will discuss factors important in the selection process not only for the short term, but for the long term as well.  Once we understand our clients’ needs and preferences (and fears!), we then identify those communities that will best match each client.  We discuss these options with our clients and schedule visits so families can see each community in person and talk with residents.  A Choice Connections Advisor will accompany clients on tours, ensuring that the “right” questions are asked and critical information for that family’s situation is discussed.

We’re there to help our clients every step of the way with a highly personalized service that can’t be found anywhere else.  We become our clients’ advocates, acting as liaisons with the facilities to ensure a smooth transition.  Even after a client has moved to a community, clients can count on us for ongoing support whenever needed.

Given the scope of options, it’s important to think about your objectives, needs and preferences when comparing communities.  Take time to visit communities and talk with residents.  This will help equip you with the knowledge needed to make your decision.
