Charlottesville, cheap VA – Commonwealth Assisted Living announced today that renovations are underway to expand the services offered at Commonwealth Senior Living at Charlottesville, formerly Jefferson Heights at Pantops Place, to better serve the needs of our community’s seniors and their families. At completion, we will have the capacity to serve 120 residents and provide all levels of service, including Independent Living, Assisted Living and a secure Memory Care neighborhood. Interior upgrades and the addition of a full-service commercial kitchen and dining room that will be operational this summer plus assisted living and memory care neighborhoods that will be ready for resident move-ins by the fall. Commonwealth expects the changes to create approximately 50 new jobs.

Acquired in June of 2014, Commonwealth Senior Living at Charlottesville will become the flagship community for Charlottesville-based Commonwealth Assisted Living, one of Virginia’s largest providers of assisted living and memory care services. Previously a senior’s apartment building, these renovations will enhance the community and allow us to offer additional services to our residents.
