Brightstar Healthcare is hiring a full time Staffing Manager/Recruiter for their Tampa office.

Brightstar Home HealthBrightstar Healthcare is the fastest growing private duty home care company in the country with over 250 locations across the nation. Each Brightstar location is independently owned and operated and the current owners of Brightstar Tampa are expanding and hiring. They are looking for someone who is interested in working their way up through the ranks. RIght now we are looking for someone that can be our primary recruiter, provide support scheduling scheduling as needed, can process employee files, etc. Our ideal candidate is someone who has the skills and abilities to be a self-starter

SUMMARY
This person will be primarily responsible for managing all staffing processes, including staff recruitment of primarlly Certified Nursing Assistants and Home health Aides, nurses, and more. This person will handle the entire recruitment process from posting ads, to pre-screening candidates, to interviews and processing their new hire paperwork. Since this is a team environment, everyone will be cross trained on other roles within the company including support scheduling as needed, and more. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of hiring process, including:
    • Gathering required background information and paperwork (i.e. I-9’s, tax documents, references, background checks, etc) and scanning of documents into online employee records
    • Scheduling initial interviews and completing related paperwork (i.e. interview summary)
    • Coordinating review by Nurse Manager for viable candidates within tight timeframes (Nurse Manager must assess nurses before placement)
    • Monitoring customer compliance process to ensure any new employees placed at a customer are 100% compliant before being placed on client site
    • Continual monitoring applicant status (i.e. active, pending, inactive, etc.)
  • Managing ongoing client staffing process, including:
    • Scheduling staff for both new and existing client engagements
    • Managing staff absences to ensure that all engagements are staffed as required
    • Weekly timesheet review and billing
    • Weekly payroll processing
    • Participating in the on call rotation
  • Brand Development calls
    • Everyone in the organization particpates in brand development calls to help build our brand

 

 


Staffing / Scheduling Coordinator


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • BA preferred, significant (2 years +) experience in similar position an acceptable alternative
  • Superior customer service orientation
  • Must be comfortable handling complex scheduling demands and fast paced recruiting requirements

Position will pay $13-$16 per hour depending on prior experience plus up to 20% of annual salary in bonus potential or up to $6600 bonus per year.
