ATTENTION FLORIDA ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITIES

As of July 1, sick 2011 it is required Automated External Defibrillators are on premises in Assisted Living Facilities: Requires licensed ALFs with 17 beds or more to possess functioning automated external defibrillator; encourages location registration; provides immunity from liability under Good Samaritan Act & Cardiac Arrest Survival Act; authorizes DEA to adopt rules relating to use of automated external defibrillators; provides appropriations.
