Filed under: Assisted Living,New Senior Housing Information — seniorlivingguide @ 6:49 pm

BeeHive HomesWe’ve added nearly 100 BeeHive Homes locations in 11 states! Now you can find theses wonderful assisted living homes even easier!

Bee Hive assisted living all began in 1987 when Twayne Walker built the first assisted living home in Meridian, Idaho.  In response to very limited quality care facilities, Twayne originally built the first Bee Hive Homes as a means to providing his grandmother with a nice place to live with quality care.  However, it didn’t take long to realize that there were many searching for the same serivces.  The Bee Hive Homes assisted living model itself is unique.  With a focus on smaller homes that resemble an actual residential home, Bee Hive Homes is dedicated to making the move to assisted living comfortable.

New Listing Alert – HouseWorks – Greater Boston and Greater Washington DC Locations

Filed under: Home Health Care — seniorlivingguide @ 10:51 am

HouseWorksAt HouseWorks, we help with caregiving – especially the “giving” part. We can give the meals, the shower, and the ride to the doctor. We do medication reminders and can stay through the night. While there is no one-size-fits-all solution to help someone stay at home, we’ve learned that you have to make time for the “caring” part. We make sure that happens. The HouseWorks team provides as much or as little in-home care as you need, because with all that’s going on, we know that having time to just be together is what’s most important.

Founded in 1998, HouseWorks is a home care industry leader. Our fundamental innovation has been an entrepreneurial approach to service delivery that returns a sense of control to adult children and their parents. Rather than telling our clients what they can or should have, we listen to what they have to say, speak to them as peers, and respect their point of view.
